Gay corralejo

Fuerteventura is not known as a very gay resort. Gran Canaria, Tenerife are "better" places for that. But even on Fuerte there is something going on for the not straight holidaymakers. There is a drag bar in Corralejo, which puts on a great show. Ex Pat entertainer Kenny Webster has made the island his home after turning his back on his home town in the UK.

We also love gazing at architecture up close, exploring parks and gardens, sampling the local cuisine, visiting local markets, and attending cultural events such as festivals, concerts and shows. Even as the out-and-proud queer we are, we still love to explore the city and its culture in the same way as everyone else.

Fuerteventura which roughly means "Strong Fortune" is the second largest of the Canary Islands, after Tenerife. The island is best known for its beaches with golden sands that stretch for miles and home to many world-class water sports. Fuerteventura's gay scene is very small and only has a couple of gay venues.
